Westmoreland’s Manor
Neighborhood

Westmoreland’s Union Manor is an integral part of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood located just 5 miles south of downtown Portland on the east side of the Willamette River. This small, close knit community spans approximately two miles long by a mile wide. For generations families have chosen to make their home here because of it’s small town characteristics. You get the best of both worlds – the charm of a smaller neighborhood while maintaining the easy access and convenience of the larger Portland Metro area.

The building has a bus stop right out in front where you can take advantage of public transportation routes serviced by Tri-Met as well as Tri-Met’s Orange Line. Several larger grocery stores are in the neighborhood including QFC, New Seasons, and Safeway. Enjoy a short walk to Milwaukie avenue and Moreland Farmers Market or take in a movie at the Moreland Theater. Play a round or two of golf, hit a bucket of balls at the two tiered driving range, or dine in the bar and grill at the Eastmoreland Golf Course. For those avid readers there are two public libraries close by, the Sellwood-Moreland Library and the Woodstock Library.  The Sellwood-Moreland area is known for its unique shops as well as the numerous Antique and Vintage stores. Enjoy delicious foods at the many restaurants and top off your meal with a steaming cup of coffee at the nearby coffee shops . There are four beautiful parks in the community including Westmoreland Park, Sellwood Park, Johnson Creek Park, and  Sellwood Riverfront Park. The amazing and popular  Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden is open to the public from April to September. Visitors come from all over the city to experience this incredible outdoor paradise.

Westmoreland’s Union Manor has been an important part of the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood since opening its doors in 1966. We hope you’ll stop by to see our community and all the area has to offer. See you soon!
